Hi, my name is Maria Masvidal. My passion for helping families and their newborns, my background as a postpartum nurse in Europe and Postpartum Doula here in the US, as well as my own experience as a mother of three, have led me to become an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), 

I am also a certified Postpartum Doula (DONA and NAPS) and a Registered Nurse in Spain where

I have worked for many years in  the gynecology and obstetrics services of one of the main hospitals in Barcelona, Spain.

I offer home visits, office visits and online support to families who have decided to breastfeed their baby or are thinking about it. I will do my best to answer all your questions and I will help you to breastfeed your newborn. I will give you tricks and tips to overcome everyday's obstacles in this fantastic journey, and work with you to create a plan to improve your milk production. I also do preparatory sessions where I explain the pros and cons of breastfeeding and artificial feeding.
